Hi, I’m Marc.

I am a musician tucked away on the far reaches of this spinning rock. I have been on a musical timeout for over 20 years, but I am back now doing what I love.

I play the guitar strangely. That means I don’t use a regular tuning for my guitar - I play D F# C# E A E. I will surreptitiously change guitars in music stores to this tuning just to make life more joyful.

I may also sing strangely. You may like it.

I’ve lived in a few countries, but the top of south island of New Zealand is my home now. My partner and I reside in a rural home with two wily sheep dogs, who are more well known locally than I am. But I’m cool with that.

I have had a few different incarnations in this life. I was university professor, computer programmer, start up founder, and brewery founder. Nowadays, I just pursue being creative. I’ve denied that aspect of my life for years; I was pretty serious as a youth. I feel more myself now.
